The Newborn Services Unit of the University of Santo Tomas Hospital is a fully accredited level III Newborn Unit that offers the highest quality care for all newborns, ranging from healthy neonates to sick and premature newborns requiring close observation or intensive care. All our neonatologists are board-certified and serve as the training faculty for our pediatric residency and Newborn Medicine fellowship training programs. The Newborn Services Unit caters to patients from all over Metro Manila and also serves as a referral center for sick neonates requiring specialized care from the different provinces.

Top of the line double-walled incubator for maintaining a thermo-neutral
environment with controlled humidity, with monitoring for babies’ central and
peripheral temperature, with allowances for Kangaroo Mother care.

- Mechanical ventilators appropriate and suitable for gentle ventilation of neonates
- May be used interchangeably for both non-invasive and invasive ventilation

- Provides a stable thermoregulated environment and allows easy access to the
baby at the same time - Easily transported and readily usable in other areas of the hospital apart from the
NICU, such as in the LR-DR complex or in the Operating Room
