The section currently utilizes 2 CT Scan Machines at different locations, one is located at the 2nd floor of the St. John Paul II building and the other is at ground floor of the St Vincent Ferrer (SVF) building. A new 128 slice Multi detector Philips Ingenuity CT Scan machine is located SJPII building for Outpatient and HMO (Scheduled and walk-in) in a regular office hour basis. The other CT Scan area is located at SVF ground floor is a 128 slice Multidetector G.E. Revolution Maxima CT Scan Hospital operating 24 hours daily, including Sundays and Holidays for all kinds of patients (Scheduled and walk ins). It currently maintains a reception/waiting area, one (1) comfort room for the staff and the residents and one (1) for the patient and their relatives. A room is dedicated for the preparation and observation of patients prior to and after undergoing an imaging procedure.

The GE CT system is a computed tomography X-ray system. It is intended to produce cross-sectional images of the body by computer reconstruction of X-ray transmission data taken at different angles and planes, including Axial, Cine, Helical (Volumetric), Cardiac, and gated acquisitions for all patient ages.
The CT system is indicated for head, whole body, cardiac and vascular x-ray Computed Tomography applications. The device output is a valuable medical tool for the diagnosis of disease, trauma, or abnormality and for planning, guiding, and monitoring therapy. It is equipped with AI-based Auto Positioning System, the Xtream camera uses real-time depth sensing technology to generate a 3D model of patient’s body. With one click, Auto Positioning uses all of its information to automatically isocenter the patient for a completely hands-free positioning.
